I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Marine Biology from Auburn University in December 2021. I achieved Dean's List during Spring 2020, Fall 2020, and Spring 2021 semesters. I was also awarded the honor of Magna Cum Laude upon graduation. While at Auburn I also had the opportunity to complete courses at Dauphin Island Sea Lab in Dauphin Island, Alabama. Here, I got hands-on experience in marine biology in one of the most biodiverse states in America.

Notable Courses: Marine Aquaculture, Marine Conservation Biology, Marine Ecology, Biotic Response to Sea Level Change, Marine Biology, Biology of Marine Systems, Principles of Ecology, Conservation Biology, and Animal Physiology
Marine Biology, B.S.
In partnership with White Shark Africa and Go Dive Mossel Bay, I participated in their Great White Shark research and conservation projects. Research focused on population dynamics of the local great white shark population in Mossel Bay, South Africa. Collective conservation efforts involved ecotourism in cage diving with great white sharks to spark interest and change the negative rhetoric of the public on sharks.

Population Dynamics - dorsal fin identification of individual shark species to understand local shark population, movements, and trends in coordinance with orca predations.

Crew Member - volunteered as staff on First Strike boat, including responsibilities such as briefings, boat handling, client relations, etc.
Shark Ecotourism
Field Specialist
As one of the instructors at Go Dive Mossel Bay, I was also a field specialist for their internship and research. I led projects like BRUVs, Cage Diving ecotourism, beach cleans, seabird and penguin rehab center, drone surveys, etc. while instructing NAUI dive courses from Open Water to Instructor and managing the dive shop.
Internship Coordinator - coordinated dives and internship schedule for the Go Dive Mossel Bay Shark Ecotourism and Conservation Internship.

Field Specialist - specialist on major intern projects at Go Dive Mossel Bay, including local shark species, shark research, and nudibranch research.

Diving is a passion of mine that allows me to partake in viewing my other passion: sharks. Being in such a world never seen by those without a qualification is a privilege I cherish every day. This passion extended to teaching others about this underwater world. Safety, knowledge, and enjoyment are taught to my students using my NAUI Instructor certification while exceeding NAUI standards.

NAUI Divemaster - led multiple dives in dive sites found along Mossel Bay, South Africa. Experience includes shop sales, client relations, cylinder filling, dive planning, dive briefings for safe diving, and other divemaster responsibilities.

NAUI Instructor - trained and certified multiple students in open water to professional courses. Responsibilities included extension of divemaster roles, business admin, shop management, marketing, gear service, and more.

NAUI Instructor Trainer - trained a total of 8 NAUI Instructors certified by NAUI Africa's course director, Quintin de Boer.
