In my diving career, I have led multiple dives in Mossel Bay, South Africa at a total of 8 dive sites in the area. For interns and clients, the dive objective ranges from fun dives to training dives to research. Responsibilities include:
Client relations - scheduling, booking, and providing services for dive clients and students.
Dive Planning - dive planning for team and clients in relation to safe diving and dive plan protocols.

Training - Try SCUBA diving and refreshers.

NAUI Divemaster
Sardine Run 2024
I had the privilege to be the divemaster for Go Dive Mossel Bay's Sardine Run expedition during the first two weeks of June 2024.
​
Sardine Run is the natural migration of sardines up the coast of South Africa. Along with the prey, follows the predators, including local species of sharks, dolphins, whales, large bony fish, and seabirds. Due to the "war zone" that precedes in the formed bait balls, the operation of the sea days must exceed safety standards.

As the divemaster, I was in charge of the briefing (view below), client schedule, in-water presence and safety, coordination with the lodge/accommodation, and organizing client entertainment for after-sea days.
​
Under facilitation by Go Dive Mossel Bay, I have instructed more than 100 students and interns from all over the world. Safety, in-depth briefings, and overall course enjoyment are what I emphasize in my education for dive safety. NAUI courses taught include open water courses to professional courses (assistant in training candidates for ITC). Responsibilities include:

Shop Manager - managed shop facilities, including sales, organization, overseeing other employees, and more.
​
Dive Admin - administrative leader on dive planning, organization, and client relations.
​
Head Instructor - lead instructor for internship and clients.

I received my NAUI Instructor Trainer designation in July 2024 by NAUI Africa. Now, I have trained a total of 8 NAUI Instructors in association with Go Dive Mossel Bay.
